We Believe

WE, THE BODY OF CHRIST, BELIEVE the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative WORD OF GOD. (2 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 24:35)

WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to earth in power and glory to rule and reign for thousands of years.

WE BELIEVE in the BLESSED HOPE, which is the Rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming. (Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 4:17)

WE BELIEVE that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

WE BELIEVE that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues, is given to believers who ask for it. (Acts 2:4)

WE BELIEVE baptism by immersion should be observed, as commanded in the scriptures, by all who have repented in their hearts and truly believe in Jesus Christ as Savoir and Lord. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and have been raised with Him in newness of life. (Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 6)

WE BELIEVE the Lord’s supper is a memorial feast in which we, the Body of Christ, remember the once for all sacrifice of Christ and look forward to His glorious appearing to take His church to be with Him in glory. (1 Corinthians 11:26)

WE BELIEVE that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

WE BELIEVE that the sanctifying power of the indwelling Holy Spirit by whom the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other everlasting damnation.
